New Communications Officer elected

Keith O' Brien, of the UCC Labour Branch, was elected on the 5th of July at the Tom Johnson Summer School 2009 to the position of Communications Officer of Labour Youth. His manifesto is available on www.labour.ie/forums. Below is a message from Keith:

Dear Comrades!

It is a pleasure to be elected to serve you for the brief 4 months until the next elections at the Labour Youth Annual Conference this coming November. I hope to craft a stable base for the next Communications Officer and significantly improve the profile of Labour Youth in politics in Ireland over the coming months.

Already we have started work on the Left Tribune with the view to have an edition for Septemeber and are designing leaflets for campaigns & recruitment on various issues.
